Los Angeles To Reopen Gyms, Movie Theatres, and Indoor Dining Monday

  • Health officials in Los Angeles County say they will allow restaurants resume indoor dining at limited capacity beginning Monday
  • Officials say this comes as the county is set to move into the "red" tier of the state's four-level economic reopening blueprint as early as Monday
  • The county will require restaurants to have 8 feet of distance between all tables, which will be restricted to a maximum number of six people from the same household
  • With the new rules, the Department of Public Health strongly advise employees to use higher-grade N95 or KN95 masks, or a combination of double-masking and a face shield
  • In addition to indoor dinings, museums, zoos, and aquariums will also be allowed to open indoor activities at 25 percent of capacity
  • Gyms and fitness centers can also open indoor activities at 10 percent capacity
  • Indoor shopping malls can also reopen at 50 percent capacity while food courts can open at 25 percent capacity
